In a couple of months we should have our wines available in USA with this technology. We will keep you informed and we will also let you [...]

Estudos Durienses - Are we using the Appropriate Varietals in the Douro Valley?
I am currently reading Estudos Durienses, a book about the Douro Valley in the 17th and 18th centuries. This book is from an unknown writer in a study made for the Royal Academy of Sciences in 1782, 201 years before I was born and many many years before any Quevedo wine was made.
I found Estudos [...]
What About a Tailored Port?
I have a friend who makes musical logos; he asks the companies to describe themselves, studies them and composes music that speaks as they would sing. By the way, he has a website, pickyoursoundtrack.com.

February 28th 2009 is going to be a very good opportunity to taste our wines outside the Quevedo’s winery. It’s going to be in Vinixá, a wineshop in Santa Maria da Feira. We know that it is not always easy to find our wines. We are a small winery, with a commercial distribution network developing [...]

Quevedo was founded in 1991 as a family owned business in the heart of the Douro valley, responding to the needs of the generations that preceded the associate founders. These ancestors were passionately dedicated to their vineyards and to the culture that surrounded the production of wine. Consequently, the company was created as a seamless marriage between the initial phase of production and the promotion and selling of their wines. Currently, the estate is comprised of 100 hectares located in the regions of Cima-Corgo and Douro Superior, producing both red and port wines from only the five traditional port grapes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Tinta Barroca.
