    Sounds very exciting Oscar. I must admit some reservations though. I went through a gauntlet of single varietal touriga nacional and while it smelled like port and had the body of port, it lacked a little of the spiciness one might look for.

    Jeff, you are probably right about the characteristics of each single varietal Port, almost all if not all will lack something.

    But the goal is to make a good representative of each varietal with which we can all learn more about Port and blending. I’m not sure if we will achieve this but we had to try it!
