(English) Vines punctuation system: white treated as red

    Oscar, I have been growing some of the Portuguese whites in California for a couple years. They have great flavors, very impressive wines with acid. Arinto and verdelho keep the acid high in hot summers. The white wines from Portugal I have tried here in the US haven’t been very good. I think there is great potential with your white varieties. Most Americans like a lower alcohol, slightly sweeter white Port than what has been imported here. So are you keeping the great white Ports and table wines in Portugal? Joe
