(English) Old Wines
(English) 1992 Quevedo LBV
(English) The harvest of 1992 produced Port of very good quality, despite being a very dry season. The low yields resulting from this dry Winter lead to darker colors and nice concentration. Port produced exclusively from Quinta Vale d'Agodinho.
(English) 1994 Quevedo LBV
(English) This was a remarkable year, very likely the best of the 90s. The very wet winter helped the vines to accumulate extra water that was very helpful for the vine to use during summer. This full bodied LBV was balanced out by dark fruit flavors and spicy nose. Wish we had some left.
(English) 2000 Quevedo LBV
(English) After a very dry winter, spring brought plenty of rain that helped to balance the vine cycle. Due to the late rain, the percentage of fruit set was very low and thus the little berries left produced very concentrated Port. Intense and spicy Port.
(English) 2003 Quevedo LBV
(English) After a very generous winter, with plenty of rain, the summer was also generous in heat and high temperatures. This LBV has plenty of black and overrippend fruit flavors, such as plums and blackberries. Full bodied and with very long finish, it is centanly a Port to enjoy for some more years.
