Hi Oscar,

Gall & Gall is a large retail chain liquor store / offliscence in the netherlands. They sell all kinds of alcoholic products. Rabelo is a port brand that is sold at Gall & Gall, but possibly via other supply chains also.

You should checkout their website. WWW.GALL.NL
Rabelo has several different ports in their collection. The ones for sale at Gall & Gall range from €5.49 to €10.49 (Euro's) Rabelo Pink is €9.99 (euro's)(75CL)
Rabelo Aged Ruby Late bottled Vintage is: €10.49 (Euro's)(75CL)

According to the Gall & Gall website.
(RABELO PINK)
Taste: Lightly sweet, red fruit.
Good in combination with: Olives & Fruit dessets.

The only information I can find on the internet about Rabelo is that it is a Portuguese boat, A Barco Rabelo, but Rabelo is also the name of a Flemmish wine merchants company. This Belgian company imports & distributes Ramos Pinto port wines, but also other products like traditional portuguese furniture and wines. I am not sure if this company is behind the port label "Rabelo", but you could always email them at: www.wijnhandelrabelo.net

I hope I have sufficiently informed you. If you have any questions let me know. By the way most of these websites are in the Dutch language, but they may have an english language option.

Sincerely,

Christopher D J woodman

Hi Christopher,

Thank you for posting here this information.
It is the first time I hear about Rabelo Rosé. I had never seen anything from Gall & Gall as a Port Wine producer or bottler. Did you find any other mention to any other producer on the label/back-label?

Hi All,

Recently I tried pink/rose port for the first time. It was a Rabelo Pink. Sofar I can see it was produced for Gall & Gall, an offliscence in the Netherlands.

Notes:
The colour was faily dark for a rose, but definately lighter that a regular ruby.
The taste was sweet, but not overly complex. It was plesant, and worth drinking again. (I tried it at a B-B-Q)

I have found eight different pink ports on internet, could anybody let me know if there are more?.

1.	QUEVEDO ROSÉ
2.	CROFT PINK
3.	ROZÈS ROSÉ
4.	RABELO PINK
5.	POCAS PINK
6.	OFFLEY ROSÉ
7.	KOPKE ROSÉ
8.	CRUZ PINK

Sincerely,

Christopher D J Woodman
